Hi, I'm Tanya

I am a Prague-based Fashion, Beauty, and Editorial Photographer with a background built on light, emotion, and visual storytelling. Originally from South Africa, my creative journey began in 1999 as a prosthetic and special effects makeup artist in fashion and film; a foundation that deeply shaped my eye for detail, texture, and genuine human expression. In 2011, I brought that artistic lens behind the camera full-time.

With over 25 years in the creative industry, my work blends cinematic narrative with high-end aesthetic precision. My portfolio spans international campaigns, editorial fashion, and commercial portraiture for global brands and publications, including Adidas, Dove, Nivea, Dermacol, Cosmopolitan, L’Officiel, Citizen K, and major tourism boards across the Middle East.

In 2025, my work was showcased in Prague in the exhibition In a Moment of Motion with Jitka Klett Couture.

Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of working with global icons such as Beyoncé, Kanye West, Will Smith, and Morgan Freeman.

Today, whether crafting structured beauty imagery in the studio or capturing unscripted moments on location, my approach remains rooted in purpose, authentic connection, and refined light.
